Canadian College Hockey Play of The Year

Rob Hennigar has been signed to the New York Islanders to a 2 year deal. The New York Islanders have already begun reshaping a team for a new season, now mixing veterans like Guiren and Sillinger, and Dman Witt with young players like, Hillen, Hennigar, Okposo, Tambo, Campoli and Comeau, as well as many others.
Rob Hennigar is a center which is something the Islanders need pretty badly, as much as I would like to see Comrie come into his own like he said he would and score 40 and have 70 or more points. That being said I doubt the chance of this happening...

Hennigar is 25 years old, and from what you can see from this he has nice hands. In 02-03 and 03-04 he was absolutely amazing. Dont get me wrong I am not arguing with 58 points in 27 games, that is also completely amazing. Maybe this years decline in games by those years by around 40 games means he couldnt get his shot going, but he certainly can pass well.
Okposo-Hennigar-Comeau
Campoli Hillen
Thats a good line...

Well Islander fans, im assuming this is going to be a very eventful off season.

I don't know if I would get excited about this kid. If he was that good he would have gotten drafted out of the OHL, which is common for good players. There has to be a flaw in his game that people did not like back then, that probably still exists today.

Victor Díaz achieved quick success as a minor league hitter, winning the Gulf Coast League batting title in 2001 with a .354 batting average. He managed the same feat the following year hitting .350 in the South Atlantic League.

hmmm

Baseball is much different then hockey sir, as an intelligent theorist you are, you should be well aware of this. In baseball, you have many items working against you, many different pitchers with scouting reports shifting players and knowing your weakness on certain pitches. In hockey, theres alot less, instead of someone throwing you the pitch, your the controller where and how you put the puck in the net. Or you can pass of the puck and get 43 assists in 27 games...

hockey is baseball on ice only with less intelligent/talented athletes and no fan base. not to mention peter gammonds, yeah you dont have him. barry melrose is the a closer relative to tom arnold than he is to gams. plus hockey players names are foreign and difficult to pronounce, unlike good ol' american names like saltalamacchia and Doug Mientkiewicz. plus the i dont get the rules. whats icing anyway? its great on a cake. not so sure about in hockey. maybe if there was a way hockey players could slam dunk the puck into the net. yea that would definitly be better
