I wish I wouldn't have to write injury updates and that everyone could stay healthy, but it happens. It also gives me something to write about on a slow Monday after an eventful weekend. First Frans Nielsen: Frans was hurt Thursday in Atlanta at what seemed like an innocent check, but he tweaked his shoulder and is listed as day to day according to TSN.
....Frans looked good playing with Tambo and Blake hopefully he can get back in there soon....
Second, Bruno Gervais who was leveled by Mezei during Sunday's game. Bruno suffered a concussion and a thigh injury, his return is unknown.
....ugh...surprise, surprise, another Islander D-man out with an injury, when will the injury bug leave Long Island?...
