Brendan Witt is making the trip down to the lovely city of Atlanta. There are no guarantees that he will be playing, but he will definitely be back in the lineup by Saturday.
....This is very good news for the Isles. There were times during Tuesday's game against Pittsburgh where watching Aaron Johnson was actually painful. The new guy Davison looked pretty good except that awkward looking shot on an open net which hit everything on the ice except the back of the net. Witt is a key component of this Islander team and getting him back should be a big boost for the team, and maybe a psychological benefit for Ricky who looked awful last game....
....also I couldn't help but use this picture, it is classic, cracks me up every time I look at it....

hahaha classic big c... Lets hope Witt is back in the lineup so he can crush a Hossa-less thrashers team... they must be pretty upset about that.
that picture doesn't get any more classic. he just needs a motorcycle instead of a hockey stick and you'll have an all American bad ass
